Recent Projects

Every business is different: there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution, but we spend time learning about your specific business and its needs, so we can make expert recommendations based on our knowledge and expertise.

Take a look at a few of our recent projects below to see how we’ve helped different types of business with different solutions, and call or email us today to talk about what your business needs.

Ping Pong Dim Sum

We’ve been working with this yummy chain of restaurants for several years now, and have designed and built a marketing database to manage their Customer Relationship Programme. We collate and analyse their Customer Satisfaction questionnaires, comparing month-on-month and year-on-year for each site.

Central to their marketing efforts is the Customer Email Database, storing data gathered from their website, Facebook, Twitter, competition entries and point-of-sale cards in all sites, and used for both targeted and generalised emailings on a regular basis. In addition, we provide advice and consultancy on Data Protection issues and general marketing strategy.

Result? They have a great understanding of what their customers really think about their product, can spot changes quickly (and act on them!), and can maintain a first-class dialogue with their customers on a one-to-one basis.

My Chocolate

The brand-leaders in chocolate-making workshops, this company called us in desperation over their database project. They’d spent almost 3 years and several thousand pounds trying to develop a customised database to take enquiries, make bookings, plan and manage the workshops, allocate staff and resources, and manage their marketing.

We undertook a review of their database and their day-to-day working processes, and identified changes to make the system fit to their work-flow. We cleaned and enhanced their data, de-duplicating and validating information, and carried out an extensive test programme to identify and correct programme errors and inconsistencies.

We designed reports and screen layouts, documented processes, simplified data entry, and acted as the liaison between the programmers and the staff, translating “techno-speak” into plain English.

Result? The database is now up and running, and is being actively used to manage their business on a daily basis.

Teeth@W1

This boutique dental practice in the West End approached us to look at ways they could double their patient numbers within a 2 year period. We undertook a review of their website against other dental practices, and identified changes that were required to update and enhance their image as well as better promote their range of services.

We analysed their web presence and visibility, and worked on improving both their organic and paid-for search rankings. We defined their catchment area, and set out a programme to identify key target segments within it. We created a simple patient database, and drew up a strategy for one-to-one communications.

Result? This is still very much a work-in-progress, but the first 3 months saw a 20% increase in patient numbers.

Sometimes...

...the work we do for clients is just so good, they don’t want us to mention their names in case their competitors start to use us too. An interesting dilemma, but of course we always respect client confidentiality.

Restaurant

Worried about December bookings, this local family-run restaurant contacted us for help. We outlined a strategy that incorporated their website, social media such as Facebook and Twitter, and email marketing, using every opportunity to gather email addresses from customers and prospective customers.

Result? They more than doubled their Facebook following/email list in 3 months and had their “best ever” December. And what’s more, it continued into January, February, March…

Society

The membership secretary of this society with around 500 members approached us to help manage their membership programme.

We designed and created a simple database to store all member information, including subscription payments, and send out member emailings on their behalf. Recently, we’ve linked the database to their website to create a private Membership area, and have produced end-of-year financial information on all subscriptions.

Result? The membership secretary can focus on her role of getting new members, whilst knowing that all membership functions are being handled efficiently.

So now you've seen what we've done for other businesses, what can we do for you? Call or email us today to find out how we can help.
